Know when you need to place your orders to ensure they’ll be delivered in time.
Our products are delivered in two ways, either:
- Front Door Parcel Delivery (e.g. UPS, USPS) to your delivery address
- Truck Delivery for most floor clocks, wood clock kits, and other items that exceed parcel carrier shipping weight limits; Can be upgraded to our Premium White Glove service
Front Door Parcel Delivery
Front Door items ship from our warehouse in Virginia and arrive within 2 weeks of receiving your order. Shipping speeds depend on location, weather, and season. Events such as hurricanes, blizzards, and Holiday Seasons may add additional time.
Certain items ordered may contain multiple boxes.
With our Truck Delivery, any item that exceeds parcel carrier shipping weight will be sent either via UPS Freight or ABF Freight. Your order will ship when all items in your order are available for delivery.
White Glove Delivery may be offered with an additional charge if requested in advance. Items are delivered to your home by appointment to your room of choice – and are then unpacked and fully assembled, with packing materials discarded.
Fees and Charges
Customers living within the Contiguous, lower 48 United States automatically receive free shipping on regular, finished clock orders for both Standard Shipping and Truck Delivery. Customers interested in White Glove Delivery must call our office at 800-342-0011 during regular business hours of Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST. All replacement movements, movement kits, replacement clock parts and accessories, and gift shoppe items will be charged a standard shipping rate based on the largest weighted item in their order.
Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and Military Addresses (APO/FPO)
Customers looking to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and Military Addresses must place their order by calling our offices during regular business hours 8 AM – 5 PM EST Monday—Friday at 800-624-0011. Shipping charges will apply.
Speed of delivery depends on type of product, product availability, and proximity to our Warehouse in Amherst, Virginia. Backordered items will ship once back in stock, at no extra charge.
Items being shipped by Truck Delivery (UPS Freight or ABF Freight) will require a delivery appointment date, to be scheduled by UPS Freight or ABF Freight with the customer. Speed of Truck Delivery will vary depending on location and may be restricted to outlying areas based on geographic location. A service representative will contact you to arrange a delivery date and confirm the appointment timeframe (typically a 4-hour window).
Sales tax is charged on merchandise being shipped to Virginia (VA). Except as otherwise noted, all sales are made by Emperor Clock Company, LLC.
Shipping to International Destinations
Emperor Clock Company, LLC., is happy to help serve our international customers through our customer service line. We currently only offer Free Shipping to customers within the continental United States and therefore, International shipping will require custom quotes through our international freight and mail handlers. We can work with the carrier of your choice or we can go through our preferred carriers to ensure you the most economical, fastest shipping to your destination. International Customers are responsible for Duty and Taxes.
International Customers looking to return their orders or make warranty repairs are responsible for shipping charges back to our warehouse and/or shipping back to the customers’ shipping destination. In certain instances, Emperor Clock may be able to locate a clock shop local to the customer for repair work, but this is not guaranteed, and the customer may be responsible for certain repair fees and sales taxes.

What happens if the item I ordered is on backorder?
In some cases, shipping may be postponed due to a lack of product availability. Items that are on backorder will be shipped when they are received in stock. In the event of any delay, we will notify you by phone or email. If you would like to cancel your order, you are welcome to do so at any time.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
We can ship some items to a P.O. Box. This excludes oversized items. You will receive a message either by phone or email if the item is not eligible to ship to a P.O. Box.
Can I ship an order to an APO/FPO address?
Yes, although extra shipping fees may be required. Please call our offices at 800.642.0011 to place your order and for an updated shipping estimate.
Can I ship to destinations outside the U.S.?
To place an International Order, or an order that will be sent outside of the lower-48 Contiguous U.S., please call our offices at 800.642.0011. Additional shipping charges may apply.
For security purposes, we are only able to approve purchases when the billing address associated with your credit card matches the shipping address.
